Eagles News · Reflecting on Fall Sports (Message from New Albany AD, Richie Wildenhaus)

Message from New Albany Athletic Director, Richie Wildenhaus:

As I reflect on the past several months, I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone that played a part in making the fall sports season possible. It was a season full uncertainty, adjustments, and sacrifices. It was also a season full of competition, celebration, and championships! Most of all, it was an opportunity for our student-athletes to do what they love. And for all who love them, it gave us a chance to share in that joy.

Congratulations to our 672 fall sport student-athletes and our 78 fall sport coaches! Thank you to the countless number of support staff, volunteers, parents, bus drivers, custodians, grounds/maintenance staff, teachers, administrators, athletic trainers, strength/conditioning staff, ticket staff, and anyone else that played a part in making sure we got through the season.

I especially want to thank Kelly Link, Crickett Anderson, Sue Mitchell and Nate McCarville for their tireless work in handling every single detail as we made our way through this season!

Finally, and most importantly, I want to thank our student-athletes. You are the reason we do what we do. We love to watch you compete and we will continue to work everyday to provide opportunities for you to participate in the sports you love.

GO EAGLES!
